A New Jersey Native, Ben Kenney was brought into the band after the departure of original bassist Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich. Ben plays a half dozen instruments, and has influences ranging from punk and classic rock to hip-hop. He is/has been a part of several bands, including Super Grub and the Roots. In person, Ben is a pretty quiet and laid back guy, but on stage he becomes very lively and energetic. He is capable of laying down a smoothe bass solo and providing the bulk of the backing vocals for the band. Among his off stage hobbies are drawing and racing remote controlled nitro powered cars.
